   Acupuncture is a form of treatment. The Chinese words for Acupuncture are ZhenJiu. Zhen means needles and Jiu means moxibustion. Acupuncture is the insertion of various needles into points on the body. These points are located and joined together in 'channels' or 'meridians', along which Qi flows. The points used in treatment are carefully chosen by the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner to disperse any blockages and to bring the patient's Qi into balance.

   Moxibustion is the process whereby a dried herb is burnt indirectly above specific acupuncture points to warm the Qi and in the channels. Moxibustion is most commonly used when there is a requirement to expel cold and dampness from the body.

   From I-95, exit at 195 East to Miami Beach, where it becomes Arthur Godfrey Road (41 St.) Cross the bridge, immediately turn left. On Collins Avenue, drive in the far right lane of the access road. After you pass the fire station at the 5300 block, we are the 3rd building after the fire station.
